Fight to Win Pro 16 Announced

The card for Fight to Win Pro 16 was just released and it looks like their will be some exciting matches taking place, especially the main event. Headlining the October 22nd event being held in Las Vegas will be a submission-only Men's No-Gi 225 lb super fight between Pan-American Champ Luiz Panza facing off against World No-Gi Champ Vinny Magalhaes. Both of these competitors are extremely accomplished, powerful athletes and you can pretty much guarantee a titanic match between the two. Other notable names being featured include BJJ veteran Bill "The Grill" Cooper in a Men's Black Belt 155 lb match against Rafael Domingues and Brown Belt World Champ Talita Alencar who will be returning after losing to Mackenzie Dern by decision in Fight to Win Pro 12 to square up against Maxine Thylin in a Female Black Belt 125 lb super fight. Submission-only matches are becoming more and more popular as the level of talent has risen to the point where it has become harder and harder for top level competitors to decisively score on each other in the current points-style format used by most tournaments with many matches being decided by advantage. Fight to Win Pro events are streamed live and can be watched with a subscription to Flograppling.com. If you're ready to check out the action sooner, Fight to Win Pro 13 will be airing this Saturday, September 24.
